Romain Berger is a French visual artist and set designer whose practice explores contemporary mythology, vanity and subversion through a highly theatrical and sophisticated “Camp” aesthetic.

Deeply influenced by cinematic narratives and Pop Surrealism, his meticulously constructed studio sets and hyper-saturated lighting create a bridge between fine art photography and Baroque iconography.

His work has been published in more than 50 international publications, including the art book Sex Utopia, alongside Pierre et Gilles and Bruce LaBruce. His series have been exhibited internationally, notably at the Schwules Museum in Berlin, as well as in several major European capitals.
